If you were to find a dead fish in your fist tank and a PH test showed that the water PH was off, what would you do? You wouldn’t just buy new fish and put them in the tank…you would balance the PH of the tank first!
The same is true with our bodies. The PH in our bodies is very important to our overall body chemistry and health. Normal body PH is around 7.35. The typical American diet is over-acidic but the human body is very effective at maintaining normal PH levels. One of the ways the human body does this is by pulling alkaline minerals like magnesium and potassium from other parts of the body like bones and organs.
Over time our bodies become mineral deficient and cannot continue to balance our body PH. Eventually this leads to acidity in the body and this can lead to many health problems including the following:

- Cardiovascular damage
- Weight gain, obesity and diabetes.
- Bladder and kidney conditions, including kidney stones.
- Immune deficiency.
- Premature aging.
- Osteoporosis; weak, brittle bones, hip fractures and bone spurs.
- Joint pain, aching muscles and lactic acid buildup.
- Low energy and chronic fatigue.
- Slow digestion and elimination.
- Yeast/fungal overgrowth.
Luckily, there are ways to help your body get back in balance. The first suggestion is to eat a more alkaline diet. You can search online for food lists that show alkaline and acidic foods. Many acidic foods are healthy and you should not eliminate them entirely. You just need to make sure that you are also eating alkaline foods that will help do the work of balancing your bodies PH so your body doesn’t have to constantly do all the work.
Another way to help your body PH remain balanced is my using supplements. You can use alkaline liquid mineral supplements like potassium and magnesium to supply your body with alkaline minerals. A liquid greens supplement like liquid chlorophyll is another great supplement that is alkaline and will help balance your body PH.
